Apparently being linked with a terrorist group is a resume builder for an important job in law enforcement, not the dirty secret one would want to bury deep in the back yard. Such is the case in Broward County, Florida where a new Deputy Sherriff, Nazre Hamze, was just designated.
Serving in the past as executive director of Florida’s American Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) chapter, Hamze has distinguished himself. CAIR is based in Washington, D.C., and our federal courts have found evidence that links them to support of Hamas. You know Hamas, the terrorist group that is constantly calling for wiping Israel off the face of the map? What is even more twisted is the fact that Broward County’s Sheriff Israel, a Jew, appointed this character!
One has to wonder, what in the world is going through some people’s minds when they make decisions based on fluff and not reality. Let’s look at the newly appointed deputy’s past, and with whom he has been associated.
For starters, consider the run-in Hamze had with former Congressman Allen West back in 2011. West was taking questions at a town-hall meeting when Hamze asked him to show where in the Quran it gives marching orders to carry out attacks against Americans and innocent people. Allen West’s response was epic, virtually bringing down the house with support from the crowd.
In 2011, Hamze wrote a letter demanding that the former congressman sever ties with several Broward Republican Executive Committee members. At this point West replied simply, “Nuts.” This response harkened back to the historical Battle of the Bulge.
As to Hamze’s question, I would point out the attacks that have happened recently relating to “marching orders to kill Americans and innocent people.” One has to look no further than the Chattanooga terrorist attack by an Islamic jihadi that killed five innocent American heroes. The shooter, Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, was inspired by the Quran to take their lives, as is evident from his own blogs.
Another consideration concerning the second and third level effects of this nomination relates, not only to Floridians’ security, but national security as well. Our country is being kinetically attacked by Muslim terrorists who sympathize with ISIS, as well as having the actual presence of ISIS living amongst us. Appointing individuals, who agree with these kind of groups, to powerful law enforcement positions is absolutely ludicrous.
The Investigative Project on Terrorism states, “after a careful review of the history, activities, statements, and causes of and by CAIR, it seems that its primary goals are to silence and de-legitimize its critics and redefine what it means to be a moderate Muslim. And when it comes to U.S. efforts to crack down on terrorists and their financiers, CAIR takes an almost visceral stand in opposition. This has the effect of undermining the legitimate security-related concerns and campaigns of the United States and its allies.”
But, as federal law enforcement bows in submission to Islamic influence and direction, so goes South Florida’s local law enforcement.
According to Joe Kaufman via FrontPage Magazine, “By employing Nezar Hamze, Sheriff Scott Israel has compromised not only the Broward Sheriff’s office, but the security of the entire county and by extension U.S. national security. And with the intelligence information made available to someone in Hamze’s position and the misleading information Hamze has exhibited he is capable of providing, who knows how much damage this could cause!”
The article goes further to give contact info. “If you wish to contact Sheriff Israel, you can do so by sending an e-mail to: email@example.com , or you can call the Broward Sheriff’s Office, at 954-764-4357. Please be respectful in any and all communications with this office.”
My question to South Florida is this…when are you going to stand up and take your local law enforcement leadership to task on this issue? Ask the simple question, is Broward County safer because of Deputy Hamze’s assignment? Are you going to sleep better at night knowing your second most powerful man in law enforcement believes Sharia law to be superior to the US Constitution? Sharia law, which sanctions stoning for adultery, defends the practice of female genital mutilation, and virtually no rights for women? If not…give them a call.
